The Kyoraku gathering was held in June, in an early summer setting.
A workshop by Akihiko Toto and Aiko Senda, the 11th-generation Karakami artisan’s eldest daughter and her husband(www.karacho.co.jp)
Gion Night was held in a glamorous and lively atmosphere, featuring Mr. Washimi of Gion-en, a members-only bar.
Our guests had a great time with lively conversation while Moët & Chandon, ayu (sweetfish) cuisine, and our specialty quiche (quiche with Kyoto vegetables) were served.
Japanese sake was presented by the eldest son of Mr. Tokube Masuda of Tsukinokatsura, Kyoto; President Uchida of Uchida Tsukemono presented pickled vegetables (tsukemono); and Ms. Nakamura of Ginza Erika presented whiskey.
